Según los datos oficiales, la recaudación ronda los $1.100 millones y se destinaron unos $320 millones al mantenimiento de los caminos rurales. Productores cuestionan el uso de los fondos y advierten que gran parte de la tasa vial se habría destinado a gastos generales en lugar de esa tarea. Testimonios “Ahora que tenemos los números oficiales que la municipalidad informa, los vamos a auditar y si hay algún despelote, vamos a pedir la devolución de la tasa y, si corresponde, haremos alguna denuncia penal” — Pablo Torres Barthe, el abogado de la Sociedad Rural de Baradero. “Los gastos no llegan ni al 40% de lo recaudado por la tasa y lo recibido por ley provincial, afectado a caminos rurales.
