I don't often "post." I comment and reply. Click on "Replies" and "Media." That's where the memecourier action is. Cheers.

What do you call a person who writes A.I. video prompts for others to use but never leaves his house? A "Teleprompter." (We're breaking new ground here, folks. Stick with us.)

@truthtroll_X Today, this demonic duo would be flown first class to Tel-Aviv (on your dime). And then the dancing would begin. I'm so tired of it all.

This should happen more often… Ethel and Julius Rosenberg were American jews convicted of espionage for passing nuclear weapon designs to the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Their trial in 1951 was highly publicized, with prosecutors arguing that their actions gave the USSR atomic bomb capabilities sooner than expected, thus endangering U.S. lives in Korea and elsewhere. On March 29, 1951, both were found guilty under the Espionage Act of 1917 and sentenced to death by electric chair—the first American civilians executed for treason.

@rocknrollofall I confess that I choked back more than a few sobs the day I learned that he left us. Always a hero to me. And to anyone who ever sat behind a kit. Rest In Greatness.

@AlfredAlfer77 I once asked an Asian student his heritage. He answered, "Korean." Me: "Oh, so you got the jar of Kimchi back home in the fridge?" Him: "That's so racist!" (We Italians have garlic, basil, olive oil and pecorino Romano at home.) I KNOW that kid had Kimchi in his fridge.

@LordMurielo Para mí lo más sorprendente es cómo Beethoven pudo escribir su novena sinfonía en plena sordera. La claridad mental de esa gente es asombrosa.

@BasedTorba Above the arch of that entrance tunnel hangs a plaque that reads: "Here you leave the world of Today and enter the world of Yesterday, Tomorrow and Fantasy." I always liked that. [meme related]

@AlexTran677026 I saw the movie many times before I read the book, and when I finally did, I was surprised to learn that the Chief is the narrator of the story.

Love Classical Music and Movies 🎺🎻💖🎥🎬
Chief Bromden is one of the most important characters in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and his situation explains a lot of what the movie is really about. At the start, Bromden acts like he can’t hear or speak. He does this because: It makes people ignore him, It lets him avoid being controlled or targeted He feels powerless after years of being in the system So it’s not that he can’t communicate its more of a survival strategy.

When HAL sings “Daisy Bell” as he is being shut down in 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), it feels like a supercomputer falling back into childhood. It hits even harder knowing the song points to the 1961 IBM 7094 demo, one of the earliest famous moments in computer speech.

@RockNRoLL_85 You know how people wear bracelets that say "WWJD?" "What Would Jesus Do?" Well, backing vocalists wear bracelets that say "WWTED?" "What Would the Eagles Do?" Cheers.
