My favorite part of all the Republicans rushing to social media to say EVERYTHING IS FINE NOTHING TO SEE HERE is that they are actively encouraging their base to.. do less. Work less hard. Don't worry about it! And hey that's cool! No, we don’t have to be “moderate” to win elections. We have to know what our values are, center those values, talk about them, and don’t veer from them. We can’t throw one group under the bus and expect folks in other groups to trust us. Have a true north. Stick to it.

Yesterday afternoon Fort Worth was lit up! Standing room only 🕺 The new statewide coordinated campaign came to town and we heard not only from our State Chair Kendall Scudder but also several statewide candidates and our local heroes like Commissioner Alisa Simmons and former State Senator Wendy Davis ❤️ we also got the chance to recognize all candidates in attendance and I love how long that took to do! You are all amazing and 2026 will only be a blue year because you made it so. Thank you, Tarrant County ❤️

This is as utterly ridiculous as Leigh pretending she is all of a sudden pro public education. These people have spent YEARS fanning the flames of fear using xenophobia, islamophobia, racism, and otherism to keep their base in line because their brand is **literally** nothing without it. INCLUDING YESTERDAY with the founding of the so-called "Sharia-Free America Caucus" in the House. And Manny has the gall to put out a piece asking for a 'reduction of the temperature'. He has spent years supporting Tim O'hare's racist hateful extremism in lock step. WHERE was this sudden very moderate and reasonable rhetoric about the middle ground at every other important juncture in Tarrant County politics?! They go as far to the right as they can for 3.5 years to get the vote of the MAGAts who vote in primaries and now they've seen the blue wave coming they're running to the middle. Fuck that. Do not let these people get away from their own policies. Make them wear it. This is their bed they've made, let them lose in it.

Our rights don’t come from the Bible. Please stop centering Christianity as the basis of democracy—liberal or conservative. Using any biblical interpretation to justify policy still elevates one religion over others. Govt isn’t here to decide who counts as a “real Christian.”

I wanted to share what looks like the final counts from the 2026 Tarrant County Primaries for total turnout, comparing it all the way back to 2014. 33k above highest Dem count (2020) 114k above highest Dem midterm (2022) Highest D/R ratio at 1.29 (beating 1.24 in 2020)

I included this graphic in the early vote write-up I did yesterday, but I thought it was 🧐 enough that I’d give it a post to itself. This is a snapshot of where the Early vote in Tarrant County went in the two primaries by race and gender.

Early Vote is complete in the 2026 Tarrant County Primaries. And voters flooded to the polls on Friday, pushing the final counts to: Dem Primary - 122,184 Rep Primary - 91,684 D/R Ratio - 1.33 #seeitnameitfightit
