My new babies are celebrating their bar finals result and you are there behind your keypad with your Guinea fowl brain typing ‘why are you happy? Studying law in a lawless country’
Ori yin buru ni? Are you Sick in the head? E Fè shofo Danu ni?
Say that to Doctors when they post their wins too.
Ori yin ti daru.
Once again, Eyin babies mi, pour your wins on the internet, let your enemies cry blood. 🩸
My heart really goes out to the persons that died in the journey to being a lawyer, I can only imagine the fresh grief their families and loved ones will be going through ❤️🩹
May the Holy Spirit comfort and console them🙏🏾
Major advice for NLS Folks.
You’re in law school primarily for bar finals. Every other thing is secondary, hence a potential distraction.
Only thing that matters is the bar finals. Everything you do, should be in furtherance of that. Everything.
I passed my bar finals, I feel like such an ingrate, I haven't stopped crying because I really really wanted that red scroll, but a pink scroll isn't bad either. I hope God knows I'm not angry, I'm just so sad, I pray the happiness comes soon.
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to everyone who was unable to make it through the bar finals this time. I know the level of discipline, sacrifice, and long hours that went into preparing, and it makes the outcome even harder to bear.
It’s okay to feel disappointed. It’s okay to cry, to sit with the weight of it for a while. These moments are not easy, and they shouldn’t be dismissed. But do not allow this setback to define your journey or diminish your purpose.
Take the time you need, then gather yourself again. There is still a path forward, and this moment is only a part of your story, not the end of it.
Growth often comes through experiences like this, even when it doesn’t feel that way immediately.
Keep your faith, stay the course, and trust that your efforts will align with the right timing. What is meant for you will come, and when it does, it will be worth the wait.
