Suella Braverman has seriously crossed the line. She is the Home f….ing Secretary. This office demands decency, truth, good judgment and competence. Her article today stating clearly that the police are “playing favourites” and left leaning events are policed softly is a disgrace. She knows this is a lie. She goes on to allege that football hooligans are policed very differently. She is inciting violence against her own police force. In repeating that the pro-Palestinian marches are “hate marches”, she is inciting racial violence. This is not only untrue, she knows it’s untrue. What they want is ceasefire, peace, and the ability to live with human rights and freedoms; crucial rights which we often take for granted. This is the language and behaviour of Donald Trump, inciting riot as he did on the Capitol. If people are hurt this weekend, the blood is on her hands. I hope and pray there won’t be. She is dangerous, racist, fascist, and inhumane, with low cunning and unfettered ambition. She should be sacked for this and kicked out of the Conservative Party. This is far worse than anything Enoch Powell said in the 70’s. Rwanda might offer her accommodation? They have had £120million of our money from her, for nothing except advancing her political career. Stop the rot. We deserve better. #wedeservebetter @votetrueandfair @thatginamiller @carolvorders

When you add up the amounts Truss, Braverman, Patel have had in severance pay for either doing wrong or being incompetent, and getting sacked it's truly galling at the best of times. But when you read today's Joseph Rowntree Foundation report of poverty and destitution @jrf_uk - 4 million experiencing the most extreme form of poverty - including 1 million children - single people 25 - 44 yrs remain the key group experiencing destitution, they are morally bankrupt. This is the most uncaring, self-serving group of politicians we've had for decades. Their immortality shames our nation. At @VoteTrueAndFair we 💯 agree with JRF: 'turning the tide on destitution is an urgent moral mission...we need political leadership for that mission'. #GeneralElectionN0W

I said on @GMB today, in reference to new depressing stats on the numbers struggling to pay mortgages and rent, that its going to be a nightmare year for some. I've seen a few references here calling me a "prophet of doom" the same attack phrase used by some last year when I was warning we needed energy intervention, again based on known facts of huge impending price hikes (eventually govt intervened so they 'only' doubled not trebled). To try to demonise a person explaining the situation and try and knock down anyone warning people to prepare seems a dangerous precedent. Advance warning, and raising the issue publically, helps both individuals prepare and puts pressure on policy makers to act before it happens, rather than leave it until its too late. I hope I try and make positive practical suggestions. I won't wear blinkers and a gag to the plight millions are facing.
