This approach enables dehumidification while avoiding drafts, excessive noise, and overcooling! The mechanical system was designed by @montereyenergygroup and uses two Viessmann Vitocal air-to-water heat pumps to generate heated and chilled water for all seven zones.

We recently had the chance to check out an exciting new Ripcord Engineering project in South Bristol, Maine! This 7,000 sqft, three-story home is being outfitted with a complex hydronic system powered by two geothermal heat pumps.

That water is then distributed to 16 Jaga hydronic fan coil units, delivering both heating & cooling as needed across the zones. Messana Controls also manages IAQ through an ERV unit, as well as humidification and dehumidification systems, ensuring indoor comfort year-round.
