Crimson Desert Tips & Tricks #14 How to Manage the Camp in Crimson Desert: 🟢 To begin building Howling Hill, you must reach Chapter 3 in your journal and follow the homestead story progression. An NPC will grant you the land, allowing you to establish your base. Upgrades are tied directly to your story progression, specifically the Greymane quest tree. As you complete these narrative quests, you unlock higher-tier facilities on the map interface. 🟢 The fast travel point nearest to Howling Hill is initially covered in vines. You must use your sword's light ability to burn them away. Additionally, for the platform to become fully functional, you need to complete the Quarry quest, which unlocks around Chapter 5 of the story, allowing you to transport materials efficiently. 🟢 Your camp manages its own economy, which is completely separate from your character's personal inventory and currency. The materials in the top right, comrades, weapons, stone, timber, food, and money are used for dispatching workers and trading. Warning: Donating items via Camp Provisions to boost these resources is permanent; you cannot recover donated unique items, so donate wisely. 🟢 Comrades are the workers and inhabitants of your camp, found across the world based on Marius's rumors. Upon finding them, they either become productive workers or manage specific facilities like the blacksmith. Each comrade has unique skill levels (indicated by a shield icon) in areas like farming or engineering.
