If you call lestat "toxic husband" and then you ship loumand i don't take you seriously. Yes, heโs toxic, but don't act as if you care about louis' feelings bc it wasn't lestat to fuck up his memory, lie to him for 77 years and kill his daughter.

@katsinazaria Louis isn't the wife, he doesn't suffer the patriarchy as one because he's not a woman. The structure isn't father-mother-child, it's maker-fledglings "can the children murder the father?" Louis suffers beneath Lestat's control not as a battered wife, but as a child, a son.
