NEWS: Pam Bondi will NOT appear before the House Oversight Committee in its Epstein probe. DOJ says Bondi was subpoenaed in her capacity as attorney general and, since she's no longer AG, she will not appear. Democrats wanted Bondi to testify regardless of her status as AG.

Trump’s allies spent years telling the MAGA base that there were Epstein Files that would incriminate Democrats. He promised to release them if he won. He won, and his Admin didn’t deliver the goods. Now, he’s panicking and blaming Democrats for the scandal he himself fueled.

@WajahatAli Over the years this country's educational system has vastly indoctrinated it's citizens to believe that it was exempt from the dynamics that causes empires to decline and self-destruct. And mass media has served to compound the problem by glossing over the death spiral. Amazing.

I get the schadenfreude behind the "they voted for this" takes on this site as Trump rolls out his cabinet of unqualified loyalists. But can we stop? Americans, like voters around the globe, voted for the non-incumbent. Not because they loved or were even aware of Trump's agenda.
