The reasons for past SEC dominance are unchanged. There is still more talent ( check NFL rosters) in the Southeast and a more intense football culture from Pop Warner through college. The difference is that the largest coffers reside elsewhere and most independent contractors (players) will accept positions in places where they are most compensated. *There’s a lazy narrative that SEC programs have been playing players millions and now everyone else can too.
