we've got ~900PJ of gas left. Fertiliser uses 8PJ a year. It should be a the top priority for gas, rationed over decades Instead, plan's to burn 2/3s of the remaining gas by 2035. much of it for making electricity (should be renewables) & heating water/space (should be electric)

@JamieWall2 Personally I find scrums bloody boring now. It seems to come down to a ref trying to make sense of a collapse and issue a penalty. It’s not the physical piece it used to be and is far too technical and takes too long.

@Bridgetpee The thing that drives me maddest about the CGT coverage is they will only pay tax. If they sell If they make a profit on that sale some of that profit will be paid in tax. They aren't losing money - They are just making a little less profit.

I have a number of neighbours who own several homes. Expensive ones in places like Queenstown and Omaha. They don’t rent them out, they are part-time homes. Some of them would own properties worth 15-20m. Why shouldn’t these people pay tax the same way everyone else pays tax?
