Hamaguchi confirms in the new Denfamico interview for FF7 Revelation that Zack will indeed appear again in Part 3 and will have even more screentime than Part 2. Through Zack, the idea of multiple timelines is conveyed to the player. Hamaguchi says the following: -There are parts in the story where Zack indeed will appear or other guest characters will join as playable characters temporarily. -Zack is a character whose role is to convey that the world and setting are a little different than the original version. -There are elements that differ between the OG and Remake series. In the previous game, we showed multiple timelines. However, if they just said it outright, it wouldn't be as cool, Zack helps the player understand that through his role in the game. -He plays an even larger role in Part 3 and will bring an even more important gaming experience to the player.
