As an itinerant #AdaptedPE teacher you can find yourself in unusual situations. Such as arriving at a school that is closed! Nevertheless part of the job is getting the work done regardless of the situation. Def not the most unusual spot I’ve set up shop at!

Recently at the ⁦@SHAPEMaryland⁩ banquet the mantra I highlighted in my TOY speech, that I use with Ss was “You can do anything your peers do It just might look a little different.” Then my wife surprised me with these custom magnetic buttons! I wear one everyday since.

This student with cerebral palsy is working on his upper body and grip strength by climbing under equipment with the help of connected scooters while using the Whittle climbing equipment. He loved participating in climbing like his peers! #physed #AdaptedPE #inclusion

@jsl1021 I used floor tape to secure the baseball bats and noodles. Extra noodles and a lummi stick helped to reinforce and contact the ball.

With a bowling ramp, baseball bats, noodles, and some tape, this student is able to kick a soccer ball with the inside of his foot with greater force to send it to a partner or target. #PhysEd #adaptedPE #inclusion
