I've just got back from an absolutely amazing two days at Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai! Over 4,000 attendees gathered to discuss the future of crypto and blockchain – it was truly incredible! The highlight for me was meeting and hearing from @_RichardTeng the CEO of Binance. 🫡 It was incredible to hear him speak directly about Binance's vision and commitment to driving the adoption of Web3. Here are other highlights: 👀 @cz_binance shared some truly inspiring plans for Giggle Academy, a project aimed at making education accessible globally. The vision is nothing short of amazing, with a budget of $2 billion! 👉The Future of Digital Currency with Jeremy Allaire (@circle) – Allaire highlighted the incredible growth potential of stablecoins in the $130 trillion electronic money market, and the upcoming regulatory inflection points. 🌍 Panel on Web3 Mass Adoption – Industry leaders discussed the hurdles and opportunities in bringing Web3 to the mainstream, from infrastructure needs to user experience improvements. It was a truly inspiring session! 🔍 Following Smart Money: On-Chain Data Insights – We were treated to some inspiring insights from leaders from Nansen, Kaiko, and Merkle Science. They highlighted the incredible potential of on-chain data for smart investments and risk management, as well as its exciting role in Web3's future. 🏛️ Real-World Asset Tokenisation – panelists discussed the incredible rise in tokenising assets like commodities and T-bills, the regulatory challenges, and why they believe tokenisation could become a staple of global finance. most people are just still stuck writing decks, trying to sell the story, not the signal. everyone knows fundraising in crypto is harder than ever. median deal size up ~100%. early-stage deals down ~35%. 85% of last year's tokens below launch price. @horusgroup_ runs GTM and IR for projects in the middle of this right now - the capital didn't disappear. it got ruthless. the founders closing aren't the ones with the best decks. they're the ones with distribution, a real wedge, and traction before they opened the round. not something that only works in a bull run. capital is still out there. it's just done being patient. the window to build something real and fundable is actually wide open.
