Paystack used to be the poster child of African fintech excellence. Now they’re out here asking for CAC files, shareholder documents, and a matching corporate account number every single time you add a new profile to the same account you already own. 😭 Let that sink in. You have 5 SaaS products? Congratulations. You now need 5 separate CAC certificates and 5 different corporate account numbers. For one payment provider. That you’re already verified on. This isn’t compliance. This is bureaucracy cosplaying as compliance and it is genuinely killing SaaS growth in Nigeria one frustrated founder at a time. The painful part is there’s no good alternative that matches Paystack’s infrastructure. So you’re stuck. Complaining to a wall while they keep adding friction to a product that was supposed to remove it. Someone needs to walk into that office and ask who approved this policy with a straight face. Because I have questions. 😂 And honestly? At this point I’m just going to say what everybody is thinking. #BringEzraBack. Please We are begging 😭🙏🏾 I said what I said. Nobody is perfect. The man allegedly did a thing. We’ve all done a thing. Some of us are doing a thing right now. I’m currently working on a project, and I made the decision to use Flutterwave as a fallback payment service. So whenever Paystack fails, it automatically falls back to Flutterwave. Nothing breaks. The customer knows nothing. At first, it might seem expensive, but right now you can all see how useful that decision could be.

His name is tunde, he was scrolling the excel database when a popup appeared to accept cookies and he didn’t log out and he accepted the cookies and like that 30 billion naira was stolen from the company. But as an experienced dev, he quickly got into action and contacted one of his friends who’s a word press dev and that one told him to restart the terminal and turn off the WiFi and he did and the malware attacked the virus and the virus got sick and they returned the 30 billion. His boss was so surprised, they praised him and prompted him and now he no longer earns 150k as a full stack dev since his salary was revised and he now he earns 153k after tax. This is a true story. Be like tunde.
