This morning was very thinky. Trying to date and connect with people is a challenge because, as it turns out, most people are actively avoiding connection. For a connection-seeker, this hurts my heart and I struggle to not take it personally. What’s meant for me is mine. 💜

My middle kiddo drove to San Diego 2 days ago. It took them 23 hours in a Leaf because they had to keep charging. My eldest drove the U-Haul down in one day. They unloaded and set up the apartment. I already miss Parker so much. I am so happy for their adventure, but sad for me.
