On March 26, the @NYTransitMuseum is celebrating the start of another @Mets season with a Nostalgia Ride to the Mets Home Opener! ⚾ This year's vintage Redbird train will leave from 34 St-Hudson Yards at 11 a.m., making stops along the 7 line all the way to Mets-Willets point! The Board just approved the award for the third contract for Phase 2 of the Second Avenue Subway. This contract covers the excavation and construction of the future 106 St Q station— one of the most technically complex parts of the entire project. Going to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade? Metro-North has your ride! We will have extra service to Grand Central Terminal on both the East of Hudson and West of Hudson Lines on St. Patrick’s Day, Tuesday, March 17. And to maintain safe and orderly travel, alcoholic beverages will not be permitted on trains, platforms, or in stations from 5:00 AM Tuesday, March 17 through 5:00 AM Wednesday, March 18.
