A new entrance to Grand Central Madison is now open at 45 St & Madison Ave. The new access point includes elevators, escalators and a staircase connecting directly to the LIRR concourse below. Built through a public-private partnership with BXP, the project advances the Midtown East plan designed to deliver transit improvements alongside new development.

@LIRR When will we see this refund in our accounts?

The MTA Board today approved a refund for LIRR customers who hold May monthly tickets, for the four days that service was suspended due to a labor action. That would amount to an approximately 13% refund, which will be automatically applied to a customers’ payment method if tickets were purchased in the TrainTime app. If you purchased via a commuter benefits card, the refund will be applied there. @LIRR I hold a monthly ticket for May. WHEN WILL I GET A REFUND FOR SATURDAY AND TODAY???? WHAT'S THE FORM??

The LIRR is now running full weekday service and is operating on or close to schedule. Please use the TrainTime app to plan your commute. Shuttle bus service will also be available during the PM rush to/from six locations on Long Island. Visit mta.info/lirrstrike for more details on that service.

LIRR service is back, Penn Station has orange and blue skies again, which means the Knicks are at the Garden tonight. Life is good.

Heading to @thegarden tonight to see the @nyknicks? LIRR service has resumed with full service back up and running before tip-off tonight. Subways, buses, and Metro-North trains are all operating regular weekday service. Use the MTA app or the TrainTime app to plan your trip.

Long Island Rail Road service has now resumed, with full service back by 4:00 PM — just in time for the Knicks tonight. I want to thank the hardworking @LIRR workforce for helping get the trains back moving for Long Islanders.

Long Island Rail Road service will resume at 12pm today with the first trains operating on the Babylon, Huntington, Port Washington, and Ronkonkoma branches. Service will resume systemwide shortly after that. Limited shuttle bus service will still be available for the PM rush, and NICE Bus is available for customers in Nassau County. Delays and cancellations are possible as service is restored. Please check the TrainTime app before traveling.

Tonight, the @MTA reached a fair deal with the five LIRR unions that delivers raises for workers while protecting riders and taxpayers. I’m pleased to announce that phased LIRR service will resume beginning tomorrow at noon.
