Movie review - #Cocktail2 - An excellent entertainer which is a love story at heart. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Don’t think of #Cocktail2 as just another romcom or a fun good looking movie shot at foreign locales; it’s much more than that. At the core of it all, it’s a love story with solid focus on the importance of relationships. The #HomiAdajania directed film has a lot of depth to it and it’s the dialogues which are the mainstay of it as you really get what the three key protagonists are feeling and trying to express. #ShahidKapoor delivers a commendable performance and after #KabirSingh, it’s this one which stays with you. He is terrific in the climax. #KritiSanon is the heart of the film. Not just does she look like a million bucks (social mention for her styling), she is just absolutely free in her performance. #RashmikaMandanna says the most with her expressions and holds well in front of the more experienced actors. Her dialogue delivery in fact sounds cute here. #Pritam’s music is another character actually in the narrative. While the fun songs are good, it’s #Tujhko which plays in your mind the most. BGM is impressive as per rhe mood of the situations. Cinematography and locales are eye pleasing and production values are just superb. After long, one has seen richness like this on screen. What could have been better? Well, the whole partying and celebration seems way too extended in both the halves. At a couple of places the film gets a bit too verbose. Actions of two of the characters can raise extreme reactions. Also, the pre-climax scenes set at the wedding could have been tightened. Nonetheless, while the first half of the film is quite good, the second half is even better, and the climax just nails it, which makes this one a complete entertainer. #Cocktail2 is made for young adults and this is where it will work the most. It has the right ingredients to be a solid hit and by the look of things, #Bollywood will finally have a 100 Crore Club success with this one. #Cocktail2Review Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
