The Battle of the Bronze Stalk between Ball State and NIU takes place this Saturday. It may seem like just another game but Ball State and NIU are tied 25-25-2 in the all time series and with NIU moving to the MWC next year this is the last game these teams have scheduled! It’s winner take all for this trophy for the foreseeable future!

From 2000-2018, NIU failed to win 6 games two times (2007 and 2016). Unless NIU wins out, this will be the 4th time in Hammock’s 7 years as head coach they fail to win 6 games.
