saying ua festival arc is boring but its genuinely plot relevant especially the fight with gentle since that was the first time izuku came to understand that there’s more to villians than meets the eye. The beginning of him questioning why villians became villians.

@mirasouleil yeah it really isn't, i don't think there's a lot of awareness about grooming in general which is bleak..
as it relates to iruma i agree and i wish people would engage with the stories separately since hiroja is portraying these characters and their dynamics pretty differently

adding onto this actually i wish people were more open to discussing the more darker themes introduced in mairuma instead of dismissing any kind of meaningful discussion because its supposed to be a 'slice of life comedy'
