There's both an obvious Islamic dimension to the Sarkha, as well as a political dimension to be explained, which has to do with Bush, 9/11 and the disastrous so-called "War on Terror". Beyond its religious dimension, the Sarkha was meant as one big "fuck you" against both Bush and the repressive Saleh regime.

The semantic foundation of the Sarkha is derived from Quranic exegesis. Same goes for that one specific line on the slogan. Would be wise to understand that that in Islam, Allah does not punish or curse people in totalizing, universalist terms. Curses are meant for a specific subset of people (often of a larger group) for specific acts chronicled in the Quran.
