And there are some nasty people in the world... Most of the time, the reason for off leash is that the doggo needs to be able to retrieve others in case of emergency or needing to search places before the owner comes into the space. I don't disagree for the sake of community cohesion in this instance but there are sometimes things that require off-leash... My ex walked his off-leash because his dog was rushed multiple times while we were on walks and one even resulted in a ~0.5" hole in his side from the other dog. On leash his service dog couldn't get away, off leash he safely did. On-leash triggered his PTSD, wrapped him up so he was unsafe in the leash with both him and his service dog unable to get to safety, and nearly resulted in the attacking dog getting injured because he went into fight or flight. Off leash, his service dog was faster and would lead the attacking dog away from my ex leading to no injuries... Not saying the way this person handled it was fantastic but there are occasionally reasons for it?

@natrinicle @MAGA_X_Times I’m not even saying don’t push back, I’m just thinking it’s gotta be a better option to just use the leash and stay on ur train even if ur right especially when there’s that gray area where they can say the dog was bothering other ppl and all u have is ur word against theirs

This girl is autistic and has a service dog, Amtrak put her off the train because she won’t keep the dog on a leash, Amtrak‘s own laws for travel clearly state that the dogs do not have to be on a leash however passengers began complaining about the dog running around and annoying folks. Laws and rules can be exploited, digging through this young ladies social media she seems to be living a normal life with lots of outdoor activity and escapades into commercial businesses critiquing their service dog policies mostly pertaining to the dog being off leash. Who is in the wrong here ?

@natrinicle what do you think of this? This lawyer used AI to draft a brief in a criminal appeal and it hallucinated cases or at least holdings. As a result he was removed won’t get paid the briefs were struck and persons appeal was reset

@Mattyferari @MAGA_X_Times I've had my other half berated by animal control and told the ADA wasn't a law while we were walking along the sidewalk. At no point did his service animal even approach the curb. I get the out of control bit but I'd push back a little...

Is it really that hard to put him on the leash?🤨I don’t understand what is her problem with the leash? How would that prevent the dog from doing his duties if he is sitting right next to her or under her or whatever 🤷 that’s gotta be better than being left somewhere in the cold🤨
