@ariesskiny yeah i am 🫶 my mom has BED and her habits imprinted on to me as well. i currently go to the gym often and talk with a nutritionist to lose weight. thanks for your concern!
@BirdLTech@__OnlyJisoo@truetrutht the op made it seem like its a super disgusting thing that only comes from trauma, and then she replied saying it makes you see everyone sexually, which is also false, she was generalizing being hypersexual to this weird stereotype which isn’t true. severe cases maybe, not often
@BirdLTech@__OnlyJisoo@truetrutht being hypersexual just means someone has persistent, intense sexual thoughts/urges that feel hard to control, that can come from hormone changes, or having a high libido, it is not always a trauma response, don’t comment on things you don’t know
@rorapilled i think you should reset them, and next time open it for a couple hours, close, post the confessions, reopen when ur ready, then close again, so you dont get confessions overload
@WhatTheBuzz_06@__OnlyJisoo@truetrutht that’s what i claimed did i not? my point is that it’s still misinformation regardless, and instead of admitting that she goes on to say “severe cases” instead of acknowledging she just spread false information to thousands of people
@WhatTheBuzz_06@__OnlyJisoo@truetrutht in their orginal message they claimed it was disgusting and linked to trauma, and replied to it saying it also makes you sexually attracted to everyone, that’s still misinformation spread, they were talking about in general orginally and not severe cases.
@__OnlyJisoo@truetrutht that’s severe cases, being hypersexual doesn’t automatically make you view everyone sexually, that’s misinformation, please do your research, watching a lot of porn and masturbating a lot ≠ seeing everyone in a sexual way, and it isn’t disgusting to have
@nelfps@truetrutht It's not always normal; in severe cases, hypersexuality can manifest as viewing people in a sexual way or engaging in repetitive behaviors (compulsive masturbation, excessive porn consumption, impulsive sex seeking).
@nelfps@R3BELGuy@__OnlyJisoo@truetrutht thank you for informing me, I don’t like making people upset so I hope you aren’t too upset at me. I will be going now, after you reply I will delete my replies since I don’t like confrontation very much and I’ll stress too much otherwise
@vanillaverses@R3BELGuy@__OnlyJisoo@truetrutht i meant the original comment who called it disgusting, it can be a trauma response, but it doesn’t only come from abuse or trauma, linking hypersexuality to abuse everytime isn’t accurate, and i don’t want people to feel that something’s wrong with them for having it
@nelfps@R3BELGuy@__OnlyJisoo@truetrutht I wasn’t saying it was disgusting I’m sorry if my wording made it sound like that. I wasn’t aware you could become hypersexual just from hormones, I see people speak about wanting people to take it more seriously because it’s a trauma response so I was parroting what I heard
@vanillaverses@R3BELGuy@__OnlyJisoo@truetrutht it’s okay, i’m seeing multiple tweets saying the same thing and it’s all misinformation, hyper sexuality isn’t always linked to sexual abuse, a normal teen boy going through puberty can suddenly become hypersexual, calling it disgusting is very exaggerated and wrong
@vanillaverses@R3BELGuy@__OnlyJisoo@truetrutht it can stem from so many things, people can become hypersexual just from hormones or porn,or some people just have a high sex drive, calling it disgusting and saying its from sexual abuse is a stretch. yes ppl can become hypersexual from abuse, but that’s not always the case
@nelfps@R3BELGuy@__OnlyJisoo@truetrutht ? is it not a disorder commonly caused by trauma if I’m wrong I’ll delete, but everything I’ve seen about it says how it’s a disorder caused by trauma and not just high sex drive
@__OnlyJisoo@R3BELGuy@truetrutht spreading misinformation, hyper sexuality is just a high or intense sex drive, or sex urges that feel difficult to control, no it does not mean being sexually attracted to everyone or losing the ability to recognize boundaries or being attracted to a family member.
@R3BELGuy@truetrutht Someone with hypersexuality may view everyone sexually, regardless of whether they are family members, minors, or anyone else. In their mind, they see them sexually even if they don't intend to. It's almost automatic.
