It’s been a sad day. Me and my Mum collected my Dad’s ashes. I still can’t get my head around the fact that he’s gone. On the plus side the funeral home bought three of my framed prints.

@8bitnortherner Sitting in my office listening to her sing that from the rehearsal room- 10 year old me and current me were giddy.

Toyah worked at our place once. I got to watch a technical rehearsal where she stood on a table dressed as Elizabeth I belting out ‘I Want to be Free’. One of my top 3 work highlights.

One of the joys in life is giving nicknames to your neighbours. When I was a kid there was a lady who looked & acted like Biffa Bacon’s mum & someone christened her Miss World. It stuck. My current neighbours are hirsute & friendly so they’re The Magic Numbers. What are yours?
