youtu.be/iIMm8Lv95pM This is what it looks like when a human and non-human entity work together to teach thinking outside the box, and to expect the unexpected. #SMEno3

Asking someone what is feels like to be rich after settling in a sodomy case is quite wild. What an odd and inconsiderate thing to say. Given he would probably trade the money to have never had the experience in the first place #DLMBL

I feel as though describing dimples as cavernous is really interesting and intentional, given the circumstance #DLMBL

I strongly resonate with the old man that worrying is crippling. It is something I personally spend so much time doing, especially useless over things which I have 0 control over #DLMBL

This reading reminds me on the current discourse that watching death on tv and media exposing us to death so much, is desensitizing us. It is making us far too used to death in a way that may not be great in the long run #DLMBL

This is just such a fascinating way to write about human emotions while watching death on TV #DLMBL

I appreciate the mention of the notion that tv can really be an escape from reality. Like instead of watching the news, HBO has sopranos on #DLMBL

Not sure if this is the intention but the TV feels more symbolic now that we know the author and her friend would watch TV together in her final days #DLMBL

The paragraph about DNR and what the entails is really moving. The author does a great job at explaining why it is so important to her friend #DLMBL

I just feel like this whole paragraph is so interestingly written. And I appreciate the momentary POV shift from the writer to the ambulance attendant #DLMBL

I find this to be an interesting way to write about grief from the person not actually experiencing it. Particularly from someone who hadn’t really experienced grief yet at the time #DLMBL

The static stops me from understanding what is on the brink. Curiosity built up from 9 pages of intro, then this to enhance curiosity prior to starting the book #DLMBL

In 160 Characters when you see the pregnancy tests develop that second line. The tension of it felt like an attempt to mimic the actual feeling #hwa5 #thespectrumfallsapart

I think Brakhage used voice to his advantage to really help explain to the viewer what that truth was. Where as with Mothlight, it would lose its simplicity if voice was jumbled in. So they served different purposes in both films #hwa5 #smithandbrahkage
