Amazing idea, this actually gives creators a fair chance to fix mistakes and not get instantly punished by YouTube for no reason.
Rod Sullivan@Aiden213213

#stopstealingfromcreators @YouTube We need a system like this where creators are warned before their monetization is taken down so we would know what mistake we made instead of abruptly taking down our monetization and stealing our money. Also tell us the exact videos which has the problems rather than just saying that our entire channel has a problem, we literally make 100-1000 videos in our entire span of youtube career so we can't just perfectly figure that out @allysonfan20 @ani_real1 @Arnold1789 @BENBROS @Bulbasquirtle85 @CCountryz18217 @DeepHumor @DevBs217454 @expertqq @GamingDrg @hoodieszn99 @JJstoons

Bro. YouTube announced a new support system to where creators will have direct access to a legit employee when either banned or demonetized. The new system will be faster and more effective for creators @notd4v @DanielTChirwa @YouTube

YouTube are now playing adverts alongside livestreams instead of fullscreen! Do you think this is a good update? 🤔

YouTube randomly demonetized my channel that wasn’t even part of the YPP and had no videos. Their own support team told me to appeal and explain that it’s a technical error even though the reason was somehow “reused content” even though the channel had no videos. The appeal was obviously rejected for not showing “editing techniques” and YouTube support are refusing to look deeper into this after giving automated emails and DMs. I am not asking to be accepted into monetization as the channel wasn’t even monetized in the first place. I just want the “violation” to be gone as I do not want it to falsely affect my other channels. I need your help, tag TeamYouTube and like this post to get them to see this.

@Ajax_doesyt But YouTube didn’t ban me from monetization. They “demonetized” me and even told me themselves to appeal as a technical error just to reject my appeal.

@Ajax_doesyt Can you also technically get kicked out of a building that you’re not inside?

@notd4v technically they can, they did not kick you out of ypp since you already left, they basically declared your content "not eligible to monetize" .... leaving ypp triggered this review most likely because i have never seen a new channel getting reviewed, its always on leaving ypp.

@Ajax_doesyt That shouldn’t happen either way, doesn’t matter if they can still review the channel. Channels that aren’t part of monetization should not be demonetized.

@notd4v Happened with me as well, no way around than to appeal and get it approved, i got it approved. Apparently, they can still review your channel against monetization policies regardless of you being in the program or not.

@dfw__tee Yep, I left because I was worried about falling below the monetization threshold and getting demonetized from that. Then, they demonetized me a month later even though I wasn’t part of the YPP.

@AyoBrianYT YouTube hate taking accountability for their mistakes so they would rather just ignore it or blame the creator.

@DanielTChirwa @TeamYouTube It’s not fair but YouTube don’t want to take accountability for a technical error :/

@TeamYouTube This is about to affect my other channels for no reason when this could be sorted easily. Before it gets to that point I would like a human review. I have not been getting responses. Thanks.
Dav@notd4v

YouTube are now suspending monetization on channels that aren't even part of the YouTube Partner Program! (Read Below) At least that's what they did to me, or should I say the automated ai system did. The worst part is, if this happens to anyone else, it seems like you can't do anything about it. I had an inactive channel that I was not posting on anymore as I was focused on my other channels. YouTube have a rule where if a channel is inactive for over 6 months with no posts or the watch time/views fall below the threshold for monetization you can be suspended from monetization. Being suspended means your other monetized channels can also be affected. Knowing this, I wanted to follow YouTube's policy and voluntarily leave the YPP on that account myself to avoid any issues as I was too focused on my other channels and the channel fell below the threshold of monetization. (Keep in mind YouTube studio support also told me this was a good idea before I did it and I may be able to find the transcript of the messages as I saved the chat) Also, I cleared the channel in hopes of one day rebranding it and remonetizing it again with a new style/niche if I was to ever come back to it so the channel had no videos on it at this point. Surprisingly, a month later I woke up to a message that said the channel was "demonetized" for "reused content" which is weird because it wasn't even monetized and had no videos. It was fine all this time but the moment I decide to voluntarily leave the partner program it gets suspended a month later without reason. YouTube studio support confirmed I got suspended after I wasn't even in the program and I will attach a photo below. Obviously I can't appeal a channel for reused content if there are no videos so I asked what I should do for that, they told me to ignore the reused content appeal and instead to explain in my appeal that it's a technical error. I also have a picture of what they told me and kept transcripts of all the support chats. My appeal was then of course rejected for not showing how my content isn't reused which I thought is super unfair and the people who checked the appeal didn't even consider the fact that this was a technical error. Team YouTube then told me to start getting support by email to get help from a team that is better suited for this type of issue so that's what I did. The email support ended up being automated ai responses that were not even understanding my issue at all and here we are today still with no help. YouTube need to do better and not do this to creators that genuinely have a passion for creating content and want to follow the rules. I really hope I get the help I need after explaining this and I'm hoping that this doesn't happen to anyone else.

@AdsenseYves It hasn’t affected any of my others yet, but there’s always the risk as that’s the new policy. Creators just want to follow the rules and they get punished hard by YouTube instead with no warning.

@TeamYouTube I have just received a notification that one of my channels has been demonetized for “reused content”. The funny thing is, this channel has no videos and I have removed myself from the ypp on this channel a long time ago. This is a mistake on your end. Fix this ASAP.

Also, just a heads up. I am not mad that the channel was demonetized as it obviously wasn't monetized in the first place. I am mad about the possibility of my other channels being suspended because of this for no reason. I am not asking to be remonetized here, I just want the suspension to be removed.
