🗄️What is TSS of Vultisig?
@vultisig is an innovative multi-chain cryptocurrency wallet that eliminates single points of failure in cryptocurrency security using the Threshold Signature Scheme (TSS). So, what is TSS?
TSS uses multi-party computation (MPC) technology to split control rights. The split keys must operate in a number that meets at least the minimum threshold for transactions to be approved. This provides a high level of security that prevents assets from being stolen even if a key is lost or stolen.
Individual vault shares must be stored on separate devices. Key signing becomes possible when the keys come together to satisfy more than 67% of the threshold.
If a storage device fails, you can replace it with a new device or resharing to modify the vault's configuration. This includes changes like upgrading from a 2/2 configuration to a 3/4 configuration.
In simple terms, this is a vault that can only be opened using multiple split keys for enhanced security.
