@MhairiHunter What they have in the manifesto and what parties actually do are 2 different things. It's been like this for years. Political parties always promise the earth and then retreat when in power. It would be nice to see a new government in Scotland, that would be democracy.

Delighted by what I have seen so far in the manifesto. £2 bus fare cap nationally & setting a maximum price for essential foodstuffs would help so many people & families.

Refuse the lump sum and see how Scotland get on , without putting the burden on Scottish tax payers.

Scotland is rich in energy, so why do we pay some of the highest bills in Europe? Because we don’t control our own energy resources. Independence is how we can lower bills and ensure our energy wealth works in the interests of Scotland - not Westminster.

@JohnSwinney What he fails to tell you is that Oil, Gas and Electricity are all owned by private firms, not Scottish and gov, and the licenses for the oil are UK issued. The only way Scotland can survive is by raising tax..we have not other resources.....we are NOT Norway, not even Close.

Westminster says this is as good as it gets. We say Scotland can do better. We can build a wealthier nation, lift people out of poverty, reduce energy bills and tackle inequality. Together, let’s win our independence.

It’s unacceptable that in energy-rich Scotland, people’s energy bills are going through the roof. The best solution to that comes with independence. Right now, the energy market is reserved to the UK government. It’s time they get a move on and protect households.
