Durante su intervención en el podcast Kiwi Talkz, Gabriel Betancourt, ex-desarrollador de Naughty Dog, insinuó que la versión original de Uncharted 4 liderada por Amy Hennig atravesaba una crisis profunda. Según Betancourt, el equipo de desarrollo estaba tan confiado por haber realizado una trilogía tan exitosa, que estaban seguros que cualquier cosa que harían sería muy buena. Pero, la calidad del proyecto era tan deficiente que Sony amenazó con retirar el financiamiento, lo que obligó a dos directores del estudio (que se entiende que son Neil Druckmann y Bruce Straley) a intervenir para reestructurar y salvar el juego.

Pragmata first impressions after a few hours: - Gameplay is fun and unique - Feels like a game from the early 2000s, I mean in the best way possible - The game has true heart, you feel like a dad - Plays flawless (on PS5 PRO) and no glitches. Very very polished game at launch - Very good graphics - Story is intriguing - Feels like a breath of fresh air Basically, it's a new ip and new idea that just works. It gives you that old school feeling while playing from the ps2 era but that came out in 2026 in the best way possible
