Thus, a brief cold snap (stronger cold front) still couldn't be ruled out in April. If you plant, just be prepared for the potential to have to cover them up for a night or two in April.

caught the Amazon guy on the way out the door and didn't say 'good morning', but instead asked him if he was alright or needed anything before I locked the door. he looked off. paused a second and asked me why I said that. told him his glow wasn't showing. he finally told on himself. turns out his damn blood sugar was low but he left his cooler at the warehouse. didn't have time to stop. told him to drop the other deliveries, raided my kitchen and threw him a grocery bag full of snacks like Supermarket Sweep. he yelled LOVE YOU as he peeled out. made me feel like one of those dogs that can sense sickness and I gotta hit. 😭

Making Emily & Alex's wedding film was one of the year's creative highlights for me. They're my first LSU championship couple 🏆, but they also have an endearing love story. I believe they were made for each other, and it was great to see their family and friends come together to celebrate them as a couple.

Now I'm two months from the wedding, and my entire bridal party is "gently suggesting" I find something more "classic." My mother-in-law offered to buy me a "proper" dress from David's Bridal. But when I put this on, I see my grandmother's garden, her stories about village celebrations, the culture she left behind when she immigrated. Yes, it's not a traditional white gown. Yes, people might whisper. But isn't a wedding dress supposed to make you feel like the truest version of yourself? I'm torn between keeping peace and keeping this dress that makes my heart sing every time I look at those embroidered birds

Scientific agencies like NOAA, the EPA, and the CDC will go back to publishing research without political interference. The U.S. will re-align with its allies and not with its enemies. The presidential pardon power will stop being used as a rewards program for loyalists. Inspectors General will go back to investigating corruption instead of getting fired for it. The White House press room will go back to having briefings, with real journalists and not podcasters. U.S. foreign policy will stop revolving around flattering dictators. And the world will progress as though Donald Trump never existed.

So we've had our rescue, Sully, 9 days. Still very early and we let him do things at his pace and don't pressurise him in any way. We think he's about 3 years old and spent his life in a shelter so we weren't surprised when we found him to be nervous. He has days where he makes a tiny step in the right direction then the next day he'll hide and seems to go back a step. His pace though and that's fine but what worries me is that he's hardly eaten anything since day one.
