After deep reflection and consultations, I have issued a personal statement regarding recent developments surrounding the Delta State governorship process within the NDC. The statement reflects: my gratitude to supporters and stakeholders; my concerns and disappointments regarding the evolution of the process; my appreciation to the many foundational aspirants and stakeholders who sacrificed immensely for the project; my congratulations to the party’s eventual candidate; and my decision to briefly step back for reflection, family, and the next phase of the journey. Most importantly, it reaffirms my enduring commitment to the ideals of a Better Delta founded on righteousness, harmony, prosperity, accountability, and transformational governance. The Vision Better Delta dream lives on.
