@A3gis7 @Ozzny_CS2 Yeah but can they offer to literally "get any other team" a reward? Vitality wont get this one, so its weird to place this "hit".

ESL will award $100.000 to any team that denies Vitality their second Grand Slam by defeating them in a Final‼️

Not entirely the case. During the broadcast, costreamers can do as they please during e.g break screen with countdowns etc. But yes, if they decide to start their stream 3 hours into the tournament, that’s no problem. Going to bed at 10pm and not sticking around for the final match? All good.

@oliverbrix @ESL So you can confirm as the ESL official that co-streamers of your tournaments are just not allowed to do anything else during the event is going and are allowed to start and finish at any moment they choose by their own, can't you?

@Shockin123 Generally we expect costreamers to have a reasonably sized following and existing viewership, you can always email as mentioned in the guidelines and we will evaluate case by case

@oliverbrix Soooo for these live events, how likely is it available to shout cast/elevate them? As a previous CS 1.6 semip, It'd be goated to get into the CS esports scene uniquely again & have the tournament days feel like a movie 👊😎

@mameloff_csgo I’d like to clarify that this is very specific to English language streams. All other languages will need to be handled on a case by case basis as our distribution differs by region

@ellipse17171 @PsychoPoro These guidelines are specific to English language streams, all other languages are case by case due to different distribution and media rights in those regions and countries

@oliverbrix @PsychoPoro because there's so many people who stream in different languages and if you want people to listen to the broadcast as well as the costreamer you need to meet them where they're at, like there are so many more broadcast language options for lolesports.

@BignTallMatt Perhaps I'm reading this wrong but when you do an official co stream under these new guidelines can you only provide your own takes during a countdown or in the after show of the games? So you can't do your own cast and you are essentially just a fan watching? I'm confused

@TheAlexMagas @sjokz when there's a full break with just a timer and waiting screen, then yes, costreamers can more or less do as they please (no skin gambling pls)

@sjokz Actually, isn't this what that means? When there's a break, they can do whatever and mute stream? If so, not that rigorous of a change.

Thank you for the feedback, we are actually fully aligned on this front. While I understand our guidelines could be interpreted this way, it's not how they are meant or will be enforced. The intention here is that while you are streaming, it will be an uninterrupted experience. If you are starting your stream at 4pm every day, and the pre-show started at 1pm, then you will miss the first three hours and that's naturally okay.

Agreed but for those of us that have part time jobs that prevent us from even being there for the full broadcast on select days, I would hope a conversation could be had Content creation is great but I can’t be quitting my full time or part time gig yet You want to encourage future costreamers to be able to work to that point but not being to review it case by case there will gatekeep someone of your next generation of creators purely due to time
Eefje Depoortere@sjokz

Should be the standard for ALL COSTREAMERS across esports imo Watching the broadcast in full at the very least
