OSINT REPORT 🇳🇬🚨: Bandits Kidnap Four, Move Victims Across Locations A bandit unit abducted four individuals—two elderly men and two young men. In a video circulating online, one bandit, Mohammed Abdullahi, is seen wielding a sword near a victim. Videos uploaded over the past two days show the victims being moved across different locations, likely toward a final site resembling farmland. Families may not yet have been contacted for ransom or even know their relatives have been kidnapped.

@TyfPacc This is really frustrating... Seeing an outsiders running illegal mining operations in Yorubaland. Where are our Obas in that Osun state and other Yorubaland where this kind illegality is taking place? This is a potential terror network in silo.

For the patriotic Nigerians standing with the military during this difficult time, may God bless your efforts. For you the enemies of progress, if you are tired of standing, get some chairs and sit your asses down. In the end, the government forces will laugh last.

President @officialABAT State Visit to UK. Never underestimate the place of destiny. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu today, your journey has come full circle. I remember Hilton Metropole, 1994. In exile, I asked you rhetorically what the struggle had cost you. You said: a lot, including selling your houses in America to sustain the democratic cause. I told you then: never mind you would be the greatest beneficiary of that struggle. Today, in this same United Kingdom, where the concern then was how to secure travel documents to get to Auckland and push Nigeria’s democratic agenda at the @FCDOGovUK meeting you are now being hosted by the King and country. History has a way of validating conviction. You went to Auckland. You stayed the course. And now, destiny has spoken. As I told you then: when my friends say something must move and it refuses they kick it. We did more than kick it. We moved serious nations to get here. Akanni omo olode ide. Ikoyi eso omo a gbo won nu, je bin lolu olori ogun. I am happy for you. Truly. And yes I congratulate myself too, for seeing what destiny had already written. Alajobi agbe wa o. The optics are powerful. The moment is earned. But as you return, remember there is still work to be done. Otunba Segun Showunmi The Alternative

@ollywithsweet @NoNonsensezone @UchePOkoye Haha, the laughs are spot on! Yoruba Gele has deep native roots in Yorubaland for centuries, using local aso-oke fabrics in elaborate pre-colonial styles. Headwraps are a broad West African tradition—Mali has its own rich versions, but this one's homegrown. No copying needed. 😊

Yes, Yoruba women wore head wraps (Gele) long before Mali Empire contact—Gele is native to Yoruba culture (Nigeria/Benin/Togo) for centuries, using indigenous aso-oke fabric. Pre-colonial styles: elaborate tied/wrapped shapes (flared, layered, fanned), covering hair fully, signaling status. Pre-colonial Igbo women: mainly wrappers (ogodo), beads, elaborate hairstyles; head ties/scarves not standard—native terms like Ụnarị/Ụlarị for basic covers. Igbo Ichafu started post-European contact (1800s trade/colonial era) as evolution from native headgear. Looks: big, bold, sprouting like peacock feathers. "Ichafu" borrowed from French "couvre-chef"/chiffon—not original Igbo name. Yoruba wore Gele pre-colonial (elaborate wrapped designs); they developed this iconic style. Headwraps are widespread West African tradition, not uniquely "copied" from Mali.

@AKakanfo And without forcing it on anyone. It is natural to fall in love for what Yoruba has brought to the southern Nigeria. Our ancestors have blessed us with this subtle power to positively influence our society. We will forever be grateful to them...

@zheun85 @AKakanfo Delta state better pass Bayelsa when it comes to infrastructure. The most unfortunate about Bayelsa's is that it is very small and any little infrastructural and social development would be easily noticeable.

A lot of people know what is wrong with Bayelsa state but people don’t want to talk about it. Bayelsa state is an Ijaw state controlled by warlords. The power brokers are ex militants which has made it impossible for technocrats to rule that state. This is the danger of many freedom struggle. It’s like Eritrea which went to war against Ethiopia for independence only to become the North Korea of Africa after independence because warlords hijacked power. In Bayelsa, this warlords believe that sharing allocations is their right for the sacrifices of the struggle. it’s just like what ANC is doing in South Africa.
Nillionaire.ts 🇳🇬@igboonaija3

My sister is currently serving her NYSC in Bayelsa State, and she mentioned that the school where she teaches doesn’t offer Mathematics or English because they can’t afford to hire teachers. She’s been lamenting about the state of life in oil-rich Bayelsa.
