@LamoraEnamored@Aerosassain Lamora, we’re gonna have to agree to disagree. There’s nothing you can say to change my viewpoint of Isagi’s role in the manga, and I’m sure it’s the same for you.
@oltergeist@Aerosassain Yes and I am saying them revolving around Isagi is good narratively 😭. It's understandable if you don't like it. Every character is paralleled with others thematically even if they're not in a "relationship". The narrative thrives on the concept of a "hero" day one, aka isagi.

Kaneshiro confirms that with Sae’s return, Isagi x Sae will become the center of the team and dynamics of the beginning of knockouts

@LamoraEnamored@Aerosassain It’s not ENTERTAINING narratively tho. It was fun at first, but once it happens for 350+ chapters, it gets a little old. He is too central and too untouchable for a manga centered around fighting to become number one. His struggles have been too shallow
@LamoraEnamored@Aerosassain It cares about 2-3 interpersonal relationships: Rin & Sae, Reo & Nagi, and maybe Kaiser & Ness. Even those still have Isagi rooted in the mix to some degree. Literally everyone else development solely revolves around Isagi and it’s just annoying. Let some other people succeed
@oltergeist@Aerosassain I very much disagree. The other characters fulfillingly develop and thematically important especially. Blue Lock deeply cares about interpersonal relationships. It's a "heroic" journey that inspires others. Characters like Karasu develop whil being attach and detached from isagi.
@TMMM_11@Aerosassain Congrats I guess. I’ll be just fine knowing how I feel about the series. You being a jerk to people over a manga is a weird hobby.
@LamoraEnamored@Aerosassain The point of BL is to create the best egoist. Them revolving around Isagi defeats the purpose of them being egoists. In order for there to be any satisfying resolution, other characters need to evolve without him in order to threaten his journey to no. 1
@oltergeist@Aerosassain the story is literally pointless without him ending up as best striker in the world. Isagi is the exact kind of mc the story wants and if it didn't have him as an mc the story would be infinitely worse. There's great characters and they flourish by revolving around him.
@LamoraEnamored@Aerosassain He’s the best written cuz he’s like the ONLY written character. Everyone else’s development is sidelined just so Isagi can succeed. Knsr was once implied that Isagi could be disliked by the end. He might get what he wants, at the cost of him burning all of his bridges
@oltergeist@Aerosassain I mean best written. Yes of course it's my opinion. My opinion is that I think what I think is fact and it's fine if you disagree 😭. Also, Isagi is meant to be the "hero" and "savior" of japan. The characters benefit from revolving around him and it's ideal for BL to be this way
@TMMM_11@Aerosassain Omg relax. Coming in on a second account is crazy work. Me liking Shidou is separate from my hate for Isagi. The two aren’t related at all. I’m keeping my peace by trying to minimize contact with Isagi glazers
@oltergeist@Aerosassain Now it make sense why u blocked me lmaoo... we gotta shidou glazer and Isagi hater and them tweets show it loll dnt worry he's getting a backstory so calm down also I know this tweet pissed u off 😂😂😂
@BlockSagi I’d complain about it in other manga too, but I’m talking about BL rn. Isagi seems to be the one person who can have any feats on his own that actually mean anything. Others get a goal or a block once every few games but he’s like the only one who gets it nearly every game
@LamoraEnamored@Aerosassain That literally cannot be true as it is a completely subjective opinion who the “best” character is in blue lock. There are plenty of anime that have lots of characters that don’t rely on the MC to grow or develop and have their own struggles that they grow from.
@oltergeist@Aerosassain isagi is unironically the best character in blue lock and in a sense every character needs to be obsessed with him in sone way.
@Tayyhavin1500@Aerosassain I could write a doctoral dissertation on how poor utilized some of these characters are just so that Isagi can do what? Be the sole character with any development on his own? It’s so frustrating.
@kgautham677@Aerosassain Expand your horizons to other characters and story lines, I am literally begging. There is so much more potential beyond Isagi’s “feats”
I’ve never met a person who drinks energy drinks on occasion. Every person I know who drinks them drinks them regularly and it’s become a part of their personality.
