요건 또 언젠가 다룰 OTT 이야기에서도 다시 이야기해보겠지만, 어쩼든 지금으로선 선행 상영 결정에 대해서 말은 많아도 개인적으론 '인디의 한계'라고 밖에 보이지 않네요.
그래도 글리치도 상영 관련으론 노력을 하는게 보이고 있으니, 좀 더 지켜보도록 합시다.

물론 유튜브 컨텐츠인 디써는 그 입지가 다를순 있겠지만, 레거시 미디어인 극장에 접근하는 방향은 기존 스트리밍 컨텐츠와 다를건 없다고 보기도 하고요.
바꿔 말하자면, 극장 입장에서는 선행 상영이란 족쇄를 걸지 않고서는 굳이 디써를 상영할 이점이 없다는 것도 이에 한 몫을 할겁니다.

이건 전에 제 OTT 이야기 시리즈에서도 언급한 바 있습니다만, 극장과 스트리밍은 '선행 배급권'을 두고 치열하게 이권다툼을 해온 영역입니다.
그만큼 그 선행 기간 window에 대한 고찰도 많았고 이전 VOD 산업 시절에 비하면 기간도 줄은건 맞지만, 여전히 입김은 극장이 크다는 입장이겠지요.

이번에 극장 선행공개가 결정된 <어메이징 디지털 서커스>에 대해 논쟁이 뜨겁게 타오르고 있네요.
글리치에게 굳이 선행 상영을 했어야하는 아쉬움이 많이 보입니다만, 여전히 애니메이션의 체급이 박스오피스와 비교했을때 얼마나 을의 위치에 있는지 보이는지라 참 안타깝습니다. #TADC

I honestly feel bad. Just feels like an indie studio just wanted to put up their proud work on big screen and they just didn’t get the trust from theaters in terms of ticket power. I just hope at least the team who worked on it feel proud seeing their work on big screen.

This theater event made me realize that TADC fans are worse than Hazbin fans. Your favorite show gets a theater release, Glitch is asking you to help them spread it world wide and you're out here going "YOU HATE US, THAT'S YOUR JOB!!!" The entitlement and toxicity is unbelievable

I get the frustration about the TADC movie but a lot of you are getting way too angry at the wrong people and the wrong things
