@DV1874 @VillaViews_ It’s a great achievement … but the club have had another nightmare with ticket prices for the QF. Surely we want a full stadium?🏟️

@Olly_w_hayes03 Let’s get rid of one our young players because he’s had a bad game or two. Our fan base are bordering on hysteria. I agree with the likes of Bailey etc … but if you expect to let our younger players in the team grow, we have to expect the odd bad game.

How are fans saying we need to sell Bogarde?😂😂 some of the players I get like Bailey and Guessand. Not Bogarde. He’s had 1 bad game. One. He plays multiple positions, 7/10 every time he plays. Very very very rarely puts a foot wrong and was one of our best players today.

Get rid of Palantir. There is no debate on this. They are a fucking Danger. An organisation Ran by the Most evil cunts on the face of this planet. Kick them out of every last institution before it's too late, along with every last politician, who supports it.
Sky News@SkyNews

NHS hospitals are being urged by a group of doctors, human rights groups and campaigners to reconsider using a major data platform built by US tech giant Palantir, whose owners include Peter Thiel, a close ally of US President Donald Trump. trib.al/EyVXKeZ

Technology is politics. You can't embed Palantir into the army, the police and the health service without embedding its poisonous politics. So there's no place for Palantir in our NHS. newrepublic.com/post/207693/pa…

@secondtierpod It’s just such a suck up the BBC are the same … there’s no fairy tale story here. Billionaires takeover football club and pay their way through the leagues… and take a huge subsidy to build a stadium as well!

@Ankaman616 The problem is too many of us getting ideas above our station. Hard to keep us down trodden if there children are at university with our children! We’ve had our time in the sun … time for education to be the folly of the wealthy again!

Over the last 35 years we've gone from telling young people that education is the greatest way to enfranchise oneself, to telling them that they shouldn't bother trying to learn and better themselves. A society that tells people "Be born lucky or don't try at all", is not well.

"Water takeovers to be referred to UK government for national security screening." Looks like the penny's finally dropped, the Chinese have been quietly buying up our water companies. Now whose state would you like to control our water company's ours or someone else's? Time for public ownership, now! ft.com/content/a5691f…

😡South East Water fined £22m for repeated supply failures, affecting 286,000 customers. 💧That's a drop in the ocean to them, & it'll be paid out of your water bills. Welcome to the privatised water utopia! SE Water MUST be taken into public ownership. Write to Emma Reynolds and Ofwat now: vist.ly/4umb3

❓❓Won't public ownership of water be too expensive? ❗❗On average, private water companies are taking around 1/3 of your bill and spending it on shareholder payouts and debt servicing Under public ownership, all of that money would go into fixing crumbling water infrastructure and lowering bills. 🚨It’s privatisation that’s too expensive🚨

@sidlowe Aside from player seeking out any sneaky advantage they can … can we also admit refeering is dreadful. Why are the laws applied so liberally … and sporadically. Kicking the ball away, diving, crowding the ref, feigning head injuries… start applying the laws and it may help!

"Every right to go down" is, in my opinion, precisely the problem. Ignore this penalty; take this as a concept, and it takes us to a bad place. (We've already been taken there, in fact).

@sidlowe so if someone lands on your foot you don't feel it? has every right to go down

The big questions from MP Barry Gardiner show that the Secretary of State either has no idea how privatised water works or is pretending that she doesn't because it is such a scam. Investing our money, not theirs, and charging us ridiculous fees for doing it. The time to end it is now, before it does the country even more harm.
Barry Gardiner MP@BarryGardiner

Since privatisation water companies have taken more than £85billion in dividend and piled up more than £60billion of debt. Yet all capital and operational costs are covered by bill payers. So why keep a privatised structure for a natural monopoly like water?

Our rivers are dying and these are the people responsible, these people in charge. In Dec last year the Office for Environmental Protection ruled that Defra, Ofwat and the EA have been breaking the law. What has the Secretary of State done about any of that? Appears she know's nothing and has done nothing. 😡
Barry Gardiner MP@BarryGardiner

A simple enough question… Does the Secretary of State consider the EA response is adequate? Thanks to the Committee chair who had to intervene to press for a clear answer.

I feel the "winter break" debate coming on again in the Premier League. It’s obviously needed - even with expanded squads, elite players risk fatigue, less training time etc - but too many vested interests preventing it happening.
