Don’t forget how bad of a situation this man took over at Louisville They were one of the worst teams in College Basketball Just two seasons later, he has won an NCAA Tournament game without his best player Really good coach

Always great to see @osimplis here in San Antonio whispering to his guard Caught up with him before the game, and it goes without saying but he’s super excited about the growth from his guys Steph Castle and Carter Bryant

Steph Castle rejected the screen, drove left, got to the rack and made a lefty pass to Keldon in the corner. Shot missed, won't make the highlight reel, but Castle has grown into an extraordinary passer. 4 assists in his first 8 minutes.

Friendly reminder: Kobe had 62 points against the Mavs in 3 quarters. Phil asked Kobe if he wanted to go back in to stat pad to chase 70 points and Kobe responded: “Nah, I’ll get it another time when we really need it.” 🔥 Today guys have no shame 🤦🏻‍♂️

@RyanJMoore4 Speak on it. I have no respect for coaches who embarrass their players. I’m fine with discipline and keeping it real. A good coach knows that. But Cronin’s past behavior suggests this was over the top. Another reason I’ve side-eyed him for years.

Lost in the Mick Cronin drama from last night. Steven Jamerson tried to walk on at Michigan St and was told no. So he asked to be a student manager and was told no. The kid worked his tail off to play at USD eventually transferring to UCLA. Mick owed the kid more respect than that back at a place that holds those hard memories for Steven. Steven works out in our gym, his alma mater, all summer. He is always polite, always says “please” and thank you, always has time for our current players, always has a smile on his face. Steven may not ever see this but I hope he knows all of Crespi loves him and supports him. He’ll do the “right thing” and handle this with grace and class because that is who he is. He will be the adult in the situation when his coach has failed him. nypost.com/2026/02/15/spo…

Eugene Edgerson posted this public message on Facebook about his son's Senior Day at Salpointe. Wouldn't expect anything different from Gene. This kind of character goes back to the days I called him over the phone about his recruitment by Arizona when he attended St. Augustine High School in New Orleans. You could tell then he was raised right. This comment by Gene should be shared to every single parent who has a young athlete as a son or daughter: "It’s senior night and Jazi didn’t get to play. I never once walked up to my son’s high school basketball coach about playing time. Not once. See, that wasn’t my lane. My job was to raise a young man. Coach’s job was to run a team. If my son wanted more minutes, I told him what was told to me: ‘Work so hard they can’t sit you.’ I wasn’t about to teach him that when life feels unfair, you go over somebody’s head. Nah. Life don’t work like that. The world ain’t handing out minutes — you earn them. I sat in them bleachers quiet. Clapped when he did well. Drove him home when he didn’t play. And in that car, I’d say — ‘You control effort. You control attitude. Everything else? That’s grown man business.’ Too many dads fighting battles their sons need to fight themselves. Basketball ain’t just about buckets. It’s about learning how to handle disappointment without folding. I didn’t need my son to be the star. I needed him to be solid. Because one day it won’t be about minutes… It’ll be about marriage, jobs, pressure, and real-life fourth quarters. And I refuse to raise a young man who thinks somebody owes him playing time. #basketball #basketballdad #hooplife #highschoolbasketball #earnednotgiven"
