@Beobachter5764 @jackpeterson12_ Can’t really argue too much on the gohan points, but tbh, krillins death hits kinda the same weight both times, though for different reasons, but for his second, it’s because we know the rules and how crazy the scene was that makes it so impactful.

@Beobachter5764 @jackpeterson12_ I mean, for that, they just didn’t want to, simple as that. This was the best way to put in desperation and rage while also somehow coming out on top even in the literal worst situations where they thought there was no coming back.

@Beobachter5764 @jackpeterson12_ We all did though, goku, gohan, king Kai, and us knew. after the transformation, Goku tells gohan to get piccolo to safely, plus, we also need that namekians (think I spelled that right) are more durable than the average race.

@ozrom2 @jackpeterson12_ Yes but he thought he died didn't he or at least he thought he was going to die. So if Gohan died Goku would have thought he's gone for good too. We as viewers didn't know that Piccolo would survive this blow from Freeza.
