If we lose today sky are going to struggle to whip up sales for the last few weeks. Relegation and champions will be sorted.

@scrapytweets We've seen decisions almost once in a match, but in this match we've witnessed three scandalous ones. This is ridiculous and definitely not a good look for the Premier league. PGMOL is carrying Mancity to create a title race for more views, more money already paid by city.

— Someone told me Nunes got the ball — Someone told me Schade mistimed his ball — Someone said Schade couldn’t control the ball But we’re all seeing Nunes hands on him, he’s running at a full speed. The least contact and you fall but PGMOL won’t see this

@Kershaw444 Thats the spirit. You will not beat Spurs though, these last 2 games they have turned into Prime 70s Brasil, they are unplayable. De Zerbi has turned the corner, wins against world beating Wolves, and a highly charged and high press Villa team proves them right.

I have seen Spurs fans saying they want West Ham to win today because they will beat us tomorrow, if we are safe going into the final day we should just let West Ham win, this arrogant lot deserve to go down and see how many fans stick around #lufc

Prize money from Europa League was €24.1m which will obviously be enhanced with TV and gate revenue. Not a bad bit of sideline business if you can get it and will go a long way towards balancing the books, we could ideally do with getting above Palace/Toon/Leeds for better Premier League prize pot as well but unsure how realistic that is with our depleted squad. The more ways we can increase revenue, the closer we will get to compete. Progress is rarely a straight line but I do think we’ve only progressed this season but we’ve also learned. There’s value in that. #NFFC

🚨🗣️ | Thierry Henry on Manchester City vs Brentford: 💣 “You see, I look at the screen, I see those two penalty incidents... I see the challenge from Bernardo Silva where he stays on the pitch with only a yellow... and I have to tell you, if I speak, I am in big, big trouble. I’m serious. Because if I explain to you what my eyes are seeing and how this game ended for Brentford, I won’t be sitting in this chair tomorrow. People talk about the 'big teams' and the 'small teams,' but the game has to be the game. I’m not going to say it. I’m not going to use the word. But we all saw it. You saw it, I saw it, the fans saw it. So I stay quiet, because if I open my mouth... yeah, I am in big trouble”

@MRIRBT The officials did the opposite and handed Brentfod 3 points last week. 2 pens and a dodgy offside goal got them the win.

Brentford, as a football club, have potentially been robbed of a multi-million pound European place all because Sky/PGMOL want to engineer a title race. The officials today were contemptible. Three major incidents and City got the benefit all three times. Undeniable.

@vi0letb0nes If you’re honest with yourself you can see that we deserve to go down. This has gone on for a few seasons. We are a terribly run club. Going down is a chance to rebuild. Or disappear forever ⚒️

I am talking about officiating patterns and inconsistency. And bringing up separate decisions from months ago does not suddenly make this match's calls correct. If three huge incidents happen in one match and all go one way, then there are obviously going to questions to be asked!!

I have watched football for years and very rarely do I come out of a game genuinely questioning the integrity of the officiating, but what happened in this game particularly was definitely beyond shamelessness. THREE potential red card incidents in one match and somehow every single major decision magically falls in City’s favour. That Matheus Nunes challenge alone should’ve been enough to bring Manchester City down to 10 men. Last man, player through on goal, brings the player (Schade) down in front of goal while barely getting anything on the ball and somehow there’s no foul, no booking, nothing. We have seen defenders get sent off this season for far less contact than that. And this is the exact reason why we the fans have completely lost trust in PGMOL. The inconsistency is actually insulting at this point. One player gets a straight red for a slight touch in midfield, another escapes punishment in a goal scoring situation because the result affects a title race!! People will say “stop crying” for sure, I know, but at some point, we the fans are allowed to question why these decisions repeatedly benefit the same teams (Manchester City to be precise) in the biggest moments. After Chelsea’s clash against Barcelona in the 2009 UEFA Champions League Final controversy, this is the second biggest most disturbing officiating performances I have watched in my life. I certainly don’t know how much Manchester City paid to pull this one off, but it must certainly be a lot!!!

@pagrev @phil_from_NG It was a bad performance but Spurs ran there socks off and chased everything. They saw we'd made changes and got into us. They had fight and desire. You need some of that if you're going to stay up.

In 50 years of following Forest (first game '76), I have never felt any animosity towards #AVFC. They battered #NFFC last night in every way from the first whistle. But just 5% of that intensity would have beaten Spurs at the weekend. They threw that game, and that's very bad.

🚨 Oliver Glasner has raised eyebrows with a controversial statement ahead of Crystal Palace’s final league game against Arsenal, admitting the fixture is “not part of his plans” and he will not care if people criticizes the outcome of that match as his focus is fully on preparing for the final. 👀 Adding more intrigue, Palace reportedly have a €10M bonus clause tied to Eberechi Eze if Arsenal win the league, while chairman Steve Parish has previously spoken publicly about his admiration for Arsenal Football Club.

@wooody120 @phil_from_NG The difference was Palace actually tried to win the game.Villa were dreadful and that has been said by virtually every supporter including Villa ones.ot was your right to change and you have to put your club first,I agree with that, but you have to admit the performance was bad.

@pagrev @phil_from_NG Coming from West Ham who made 10 changes for a match between the conference league semi finals. You had your chance a couple of weeks ago when a hung over Palace made 7 changes against you but you still couldn't win.

My worry is that one person in the panel did not see this has handball. I hope that person receives some operational advice and is not invited into that panel in future
JosephVickers__@JosephVickers__

🔵🚨 The Premier League’s key match incidents panel has ruled that Everton should have been awarded a penalty in their 2-1 defeat at West Ham for a handball by Mateus Fernandes The panel voted 4:1 that it was an error by both the referee and the VAR [@DaleJohnsonBBC]
