what’s something painfully annoying or tedious that you deal with every day—at work or in life?
that’s exactly where you start building.
take this example:
my doctor’s clinic portal was incredibly frustrating to log into and navigate. a few simple changes to the login flow and UI could have drastically improved the experience.
so i rebuilt their front end and shared it with them.
now they’re rolling it out across all 15+ of their clinics—and i landed a $10k/month retainer.
you don’t need to build the next big app.
just build things that work—and actually improve the user experience.

first post here - looking for some advice: i’m getting a flood of work requests but can’t take on any new clients with my current workload. i recently quit my job after now hitting $10k+ months back to back and want to go all-in on this, so turning people away isn’t ideal. i also don’t want to outsource. i started building a custom ai agent to help, but hit some roadblocks. i wanted to ask if anyone here has suggestions or alternative solutions? this community seems super talented, so i’m hoping someone’s got a fresh idea to try, thank you in advance!
