SOS Adoption 🐶 Shawnee, 4 ans, mérite une seconde chance 🐕 Shawnee est un magnifique berger allemand noir et feu à poil long. Il est arrivé au refuge en novembre 2025 après le décès de sa propriétaire. Depuis, Shawnee attend. Il attend qu'on lui parle. Il attend qu'on le regarde. Il attend qu'on l'aime à nouveau. Et Shawnee, c'est aussi une sensibilité qu'il faut comprendre. La vie au refuge est difficile pour lui. Le collectif, le bruit, l'attente, ce n'est pas son monde. Il ne s'y épanouit pas. Il a besoin de repères, de stabilité, d'un foyer où il pourra enfin se poser. Avec les autres chiens. il peut être en difficulté. Il préfère être le seul à recevoir l'attention. Celui qui compte vraiment. En revanche, il peut vivre avec des chats habitués. Shawnee est un chien encore dynamique, qui a besoin de se dépenser, de jouer, de partager des activités. Il adore les moments de complicité, les balades, les jeux, tout ce qui nourrit son équilibre. Côté famille, il lui faudrait un environnement adapté, plutôt avec des adolescents ou des adultes. Car Shawee a de la force et de l'énergie. Il lui faut des humains présents, investis, prêts à lui offrir du temps, de l'attention et surtout de l'amour. Ce n'est pas un chien destructeur, au contraire, il apprécie le confort d'une maison quand il peut aussi profiter d'un extérieur pour se dépenser. Aujourd'hui, son cœur est encore marqué. Il a perdu sa famille, ses repères, sa vie. Mais il n'a pas perdu l'essentiel, sa capacité à aimer. Shawnee n'attend qu'une chose, recommencer. Alors si vous cherchez un chien loyal proche de vous, un vrai compagnon, regardez-le. Peut-être que son histoire peut continuer avec vous. Do you remember him? The dog we rescued - the one riddled with shrapnel from a hunters gun? His eye was too damaged to save and was removed and his other wounds were treated. This is him today. Almost 2 weeks after rescue he is alert, healing and has an excellent appetite. We have high hopes for a full recovery.
