@crwarmuth44 I think that’s their problem then if they aren’t willing to engage in a discussion with you. I think conversations need to be had and compromises need to be made I offer to a lot and usually just get ignored or it quickly turns into a bad faith discussion that isn't worth having

@crwarmuth44 Like I find it hard to find somebody on your side of the debate that’s willing to have an honest good faith conversation about these topics. I’m lurking around in the debates quite frequently and I see so many bad faith questions and such.

@crwarmuth44 I think that’s generally because a group of people who are on the opposing side who ask bad faith questions and don’t really provide much to the debate. I see it quite frequently and I can get that part of why they don’t engage with anyone on the opposing side.

@crwarmuth44 I mean I think both sides are engaging in bad faith. I don’t think one side necessarily is the one engaging in bad faith. I see bad faith/weak arguments made by both sides of the debate. People are yelling past each other and not taking 5 minutes to hear the opposing argument.

@crwarmuth44 I think there’s misunderstandings on both sides of the debate and people are talking past each other on top of wide-ranging generalizations being made. A lot of the community just doesn’t find it worthwhile to have a discussion if it’s just going to be a bad faith conversation

@crwarmuth44 I’m Transgender myself. Most of the community just doesn’t feel like there’s much of a reason to engage in conversations about the discussion for a multitude of reasons. Some I don’t get but some I get like the issues I have when trying to have this discussion

@crwarmuth44 Well it’s generally because people engage in bad faith and don’t want to have a constructive conversation about the topic. I agree there needs to be compromises and such but 99% of the time I attempt to engage in these conversations the other person is engaging in bad faith.
