The Setup In September 2025, BT Brands signed a definitive merger agreement with Aero Velocity, a developer of American-made, NDAA-compliant drones and Drone-as-a-Service solutions. The goal is to create a pure-play drone and AI technology company. Just yesterday, Aero Velocity and the AeroShield Alliance announced they are establishing a new headquarters in Mississippi. The initiative focuses on scaling public-sector infrastructure solutions, including AI-driven analytics and drone-based data collection, along with workforce development in partnership with local colleges. This reflects tangible operational steps in a sector seeing strong demand. Alliance members have collectively secured over $100 million in government contracts with agencies such as the DoD, USDA, and U.S. Forest Service. The Share Structure The public float is approximately 3.15M. This is a relatively tight structure that can support meaningful price movement on increased volume. For context, it is higher than $UGRO’s ultra-low float following its recent reverse split, so any momentum may be solid but likely less extreme than in ultra-low-float situations. The Risks This remains a high-risk micro-cap situation. The merger has not yet closed and could be terminated if the special shareholder meeting and required approvals are not completed by April 30. Post-merger, significant dilution is expected because Aero Velocity shareholders will own the majority of the combined company. As with most micro-caps, expect elevated volatility, limited liquidity, execution challenges in scaling a drone business for public-sector work, and other regulatory or operational factors. $ASTS currently on the longest correction (61 days) since 2024. Normally when consolidations take this long the eventual breakouts are more sustainable.
This correction could always cut deeper and go on for longer, but the 200sma is being tested for the first time since last June. It's worth noting it undercut the 200sma for most of the month of April 2025 before resolving higher in June.
