Zelensky just reminded JD Vance that calling Ukrainian territory a "scrap of land" isn't a negotiating position. It's an insult. With full diplomatic courtesy and zero diplomatic softness, Zelensky explained what Vance apparently doesn't know: the territory in question has 200,000 residents, strong fortifications, and sits exactly where Russia wants to build a bridgehead for its next offensive. Giving it up doesn't end the war. It stages the next one. Then the closing line: "Every square meter of our land is Ukrainian land and, with all due respect to any of our partners, it is definitely not theirs." There's no misreading that sentence.

It's easy to think all world leaders are incompetent and corrupt but a reminder that sitting in his office is Kyiv is Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Calm, principled, efficient, brave. Russia KSSO has failed over and over again in their attempts to kill him and still he stands tall.

Britain and France are building a military alliance Washington can no longer take for granted. On April 1, the two countries signed an agreement to jointly develop a successor to the Meteor air-to-air missile, the most capable long-range weapon of its kind in the Western arsenal. France followed with a €36 billion defense spending increase through 2030 and plans to expand its nuclear arsenal for the first time in decades. Prime Minister Starmer publicly broke with Trump over Iran this week, calling the rhetoric incompatible with British values. The Lancaster House treaty that has anchored Anglo-French defense cooperation since 2010 is being upgraded. Europe’s two serious military powers are moving toward each other as they move away from Washington. Stay connected, Follow Gandalv @Microinteracti1

Midwife to GB News Andrew Neil is in a flap. He states: Starmer’s failure to rearm Britain is a national scandal — and will sideline us for decades to come. What is a national scandal is the 14 yrs of neglect by the Tories....and Andrew's attempts to stay relevant.

Putting everything else to the side, if you had any doubt about whether the Trump Administration worked for Russia, J.D. Vance and Trump madly campaigning for Viktor Orban should be all the proof you need

On election day in Budapest, GRU agents disguised as Ukrainians are reportedly planning to seize buildings in the city center. Ukrainian intelligence warns the operation uses former Berkut fighters — the unit that violently dispersed Euromaidan protesters in 2014 before fleeing to Russia. Their role: pose as Ukrainians, manufacture chaos, and hand a losing Orbán the pretext to declare a state of emergency and annul the results. Former Berkut commander Serhiy Kusyuk is reportedly already in Budapest. Russia isn't just fighting in Ukraine. It's running operations inside EU capitals.

Tonight in Budapest’s Heroes’ Square, something is shifting. A sea of young Hungarians, who have grown up knowing nothing but Orbán’s iron grip, are out in the cold, singing, chanting, and daring to believe that things can change. These are people who have never voted in a free election. They have watched the courts get packed, the press get muzzled, and the money flow to Orbán’s cronies while they were handed nationalism and grievance in return. Tonight they are saying: enough. What makes this remarkable is who has kept Orbán in power. Donald Trump calls him a great leader. Vladimir Putin calls him a friend. Two men who have made careers out of crushing the thing these young Hungarians are standing in Heroes’ Square demanding: accountability, dignity, a future that belongs to them and not to a political machine. Orbán has sold Hungary’s sovereignty in two directions at once, cuddling up to Moscow while draining Brussels. His people have paid the price in rigged institutions, stifled opportunity, and a media landscape where independent journalism is a survival sport. But Hungary’s millions have not disappeared. They have been waiting. And tonight in Budapest, they are making noise. Stay connected, Follow Gandalv @Microinteracti1

🧵 1/7 A kamikaze pilot crashed his Zero into the USS Missouri. They found his body on the deck. The American captain's next order shocked every single man on that ship. The captain never spoke of it again. His family didn't find out until 2001.

Trump leaving the umbrella for someone else to close, because he can’t do it himself, is a perfect illustration of what he did with Iran.
