@tjjackson Biopics have been overdone. Excited for Michael and for each of the Beatles in 27-28. After that nothing else would interested. Problem with biopics is how a life story needs to be bent to craft a dramatic natrative, documentaries are better to help understand a person.

@Raymond01704716 @mngrsplaybook Had extraordinary talent and worked 24/7 as a child harnessing his ability. But like with anything in entertainment you need to have the right thing at the right time to make it big. With Thriller, MJ gave a new pop sound along with video and dancing and the public lapped it up.

@claudelittner Spurs owners are there to line their pocket like they have been for the past 15 years when we had more Champions league football. However they didn’t understand winning things helps the bottom line in the long run. Now watch the sponsorship and commercial deals dry up.

@claudelittner Average league position in 90s compared to 50s, 60s, 80s, 00s, 10s was poorer. Further in the 70s, Spurs picked up 3 trophies and 2 trophies in the 90s. So there is truth in that.

@afneil A big problem is that Brexit turfed out a lot of top tier politicians in a short space of time and the best and brightest of the country are not attracted to Westminster given the meagre rewards and ridiculous media scrutiny.
