Hi ! I’m building a CubeSat antenna in public in my free time From scratch → theory → simulations Quick disclaimer: I’ll be focusing mainly on the RF + antenna side. I don’t have flight heritage (yet), and I’m just sharing what I know and learn along the way. (1/n)

This is so cool - Building Energy tiles for the space 🚀 All the best @iamkrishradha sir for this journey! Happy to see that Indian company will now do RnD and Manufacturing of Space grade solar cells
Radha Krishna Kavuluru@iamkrishradha

The next space race won’t be about rockets. It’ll be about energy. I’m starting Astro Voltaics to build the future of energy in space. Over the last decade, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely on satellite systems from my time at ISRO to building at Dhruva. One thing became very clear: Launch costs dropped 10x. Satellite power didn’t. We are entering an era of thousands of satellites, mega-constellations, and continuous space operations, but the way we generate power in space hasn’t fundamentally changed. That’s the bottleneck. At Astro Voltaics, we’re building ultralight, high-efficiency solar cells for space using next-generation semiconductor technology designed to scale with the future of space infrastructure. This is a hard problem: • Materials • Semiconductors • Fundamental Science • Manufacturing • Space qualification But it’s also a once-in-a-decade opportunity. We’re building this with a team that has spent years working on space solar systems , world class advisors and we’re just getting started. I will be introducing the team in the days to come. Now, we’re looking for people who want to build at the frontier. 🚀 Hiring across roles both tech & non-tech ==================================== =>Materials science, semiconductors, photovoltaics =>Manufacturing & process engineering =>Business, operations, storytelling If you’re excited about space, energy, or building something from first principles, I’d love to connect. Even if you don’t fit a role perfectly reach out. Curiosity matters more than checkboxes. Let’s build the power layer for the next space era. More soon. 🙏🚀

After a unforgettable 2 years journey of my life, I am moving away from @DhruvaSpace this month. I joined Dhruva after 8 years of work at ISRO. From Day zero, I enjoyed working with every single person in the team and the team felt like home and family more than workplace. The team was filled with budding engineers, the dreamers and the do-ers. The dream was visible every day, to see our work, touch the lives of Indians from orbit. Every single line of code, felt like a meaningful contribution. Dhruva also gave me a platform to see India from a different set of eyes. To the many friends, teammates, and collaborators there are hundreds of connections and memories I’m taking forward with me. Grateful for everything this journey has given me. Eyes wide open for what lies ahead. The next chapter is a bit of a leap and something I have been working towards for a while. Looking forward to sharing it with you all soon. 🙏🚀🛰️🛰️🛰️☀️☀️☀️

@phpandya28 Altitude alone doesn't qualify a successful or failed test. Dumb take.

Since now it's time for summer internship as part of course credits after 6th sem i see lot's of my colleagues thinking ECE is just all about Verilog, Semicon Packaging or robotics thanks to Uni. Everyone is just mass applying in either IITs, NITs or Verification company. (1/n)

Congratulations to #ISRO on the successful sea-level hot test of the CE20 Cryogenic Engine at 22-tonne thrust at the ISRO Propulsion Complex, Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu. The successful test featuring the nozzle protection system and multi-element igniter marks another important step in strengthening India’s advanced cryogenic propulsion capabilities and further enhancing the reliability of the LVM3 programme.

You need to design systems that these technicians or operators understand and can be trained easily on it. I don't know why people find this boring This can actually bring you good amount of money too becoz you are solving real problem for which people are ready to pay (4/4)

In these industries you might need to work with simple components like relay, tower light and stuff but here you have different challenge to solve like your solutions should handle power fluctuation and should have life of minimum 5-6 years. (3/n)
