@RobiWittmore That’s a move the giants should and would do. Lots of holes to fill. These 10 year olds on here think they’re playing Madden expecting too much

Am I the only one that would prefer Caleb Downs over Sonny Styles? Styles tackling quality concerns me. Tackling is already a brutal issue for the Giants

@SpartanMike96 @legreebrynn2 It means he’s better in coverage than most ILBs coming straight from college. Also—tackling should be fixed with good coaching.

@BallKnowerfrfr @Mon3yStretch @RobiWittmore @FredNYTerp It’s 2 spots. If you think it’s for a 1st you’re out of your mind. It took Philly just a 3rd to move up 2 spots a few years ago when they traded with Dallas to jump the giants for Devonta Smith. It’s likely all we’re gonna get

@BrojoNYGiants The elite prospects are all in positions of poor positional value in this draft. Delane is at the bottom of the elite tier of prospects (still elite) and at a position that’s valued highly. I think a team nobody is talking about takes him before KC. Trade up wouldnt shock me

@BallinFFB Slayton had 2 long pass touchdowns called back because of OPI and he dropped a ton of wide open passes. Theo Johnson also dropped a ton of wide open passes. They killed Darts Stats

Since #NYGiants fans still want to talk about the Titans and Cam Ward. Jaxson Dart supporting cast last season was Wandale Robinson, Darius Slayton, Cam Skattbo, Tyrone Tracy, Theo Johnson, Daniel Bellinger , a top 10 o line , and an offseason with Brian Daboll Cam Ward supporting cast majority of the year was Elic Ayomanor, Van Jefferson, Mason Kinsey, Chig, Chimre Dike, Gunner Helm, a bottom tier Oline till Callahan was fired, and Brian Callahan as his HC for a whole offseason. Callahan which is one of the worst offensive minds I’ve ever seen. You can’t realistically look at the situations and think ooo boy Jaxson Dart is so much better. He had a better situation for his rookie season and he definitely doesn’t “clear” Cam Ward. Also didn’t you all have a franchise QB in Daniel Jones who had a great rookie season and it was downhill after? And if you want to look at QBRs look at Cam Wards stats when Jaxson Darts QB coach was fired in Nashville and how much better Cam Was. #TitanUp
BaddogSports@MrBaddog7676

Titans fans, knock it off. Dart clears Not to mention Dart's QBR is was 57.5. Ward's was 33.2.

@MrBaddog7676 I’d just sit and take him at 5. Pro bowl-all pro caliber player. Don’t get cute. Take the best player at a valuable position

@BurnerDart @xoJaqx @BigBlueFilmRoom @Gridiron_Media_ I don’t see him as generational no. That would mean he’s a better prospect than Ed Reed and i don’t see that. He’s very good. Not elite athletically. Played behind 2 LBs projected to be top 5 picks this year. He plays very smart and is a very good player. Not generational

According to Dan Duggan: "Expect more chatter about the Giants using the fifth pick on a corner such as LSU’s Mansoor Delane."

@jeremyJimnz @SleeperGiants I’m not some number 1 fan of Styles. Just like with Downs, i wouldn’t be upset with the pick. It’s not the direction I would go

@pilot_devin @SleeperGiants Bro the same could be said for both of those players. It’s no different for Sonny or Reese. And who was the captain of that defense? And Sonny wasn’t projected to go in the top 10 till his combine. Because his film simply wasn’t that good. It was good but not top 10 good…

Thoughts on this?
SleeperNFL@SleeperNFL

.@joelklatt still sees WR Carnell Tate going to the Giants at No. 5 overall in his latest Mock. "Tate, with his ability to make contested grabs down the field, is a good fit for Dart's gunslinger passing style. Some might debate USC's Makai Lemon as better, but it's about fit."

@jeremyJimnz @SleeperGiants Yea I’ve seen his tape. He also played against guys who won’t see the field at the next level. He had elite players around him (2 other teammates projected to go in the top 10) on that defense and coached by a Super Bowl winning d-coordinator. He’s very good. Still a safety

@pilot_devin @SleeperGiants Watch his tape, at Alabama as a freshman, and then his tape with Ohio state. This guy is genuinely generational. The fact that he’s a safety gives us the opportunity to pick him up. Cause if he was a linebacker he would be 2nd overall.

@jeremyJimnz @SleeperGiants If he ends up being the pick I’m not going to be mad. I just don’t think safety at 5th overall is the way to go regardless of how good he is.

@pilot_devin @SleeperGiants Watch his tape… he was the focal point in a Nick Saben defense. The focal point in a championship winning defense. And the focal point in the best defense in college football. He’s played over 500 snaps at LB, CB. Over 100 off the edge. And over 1000 as the best FS in college.

@jeremyJimnz @SleeperGiants He’s a safety and even the best safeties in the league don’t contribute to as many wins as the best RBs in the league and that’s a low valued position. (I’m not advocating for Love)

@pilot_devin @SleeperGiants A. You would be saying that for any player that we draft… in hindsight you would never want to draft a player who you knew was going to get a season ending injury…
