One of nature's most intelligent and curious creatures, the octopus is everything your organization needs to be: smart, endlessly adaptable, and highly resilient. Its eight tentacles work in concert, but each can also think for itself. In their new book, "The Octopus Organization," AWS executives Phil Le-Brun and Jana Werner aim to help you achieve that same balance of cohesion and autonomy and guide your organization toward a living, breathing system—one that learns, adapts, and thrives. Break away from a broken model of transformation and embrace continuous change. The book is available today. mybook.to/octopusorg

And now your app is not accepting checkins for a flight i had to rebook, staff are refusing to help book hotels for anyone and the final desk is being closed leaving passengers abandoned. This is utterly ridiculous

@AerLingus what is going on? No communications on flight delays, no flight connection help or desks open at DUB and a multi-hour queue at ticket assistance staffed by one person

Imagine a leader proclaiming no understanding of finance because "that's the CFO's job". It wouldn't be acceptable. How do we get leaders comfortable with technology in the same way? Some thoughts on why and how to address this. #aws aws.amazon.com/blogs/enterpri…

Some thoughts on one of Chris Hennesey and my pet peeves: internal technology charge-backs and the unnecessary complexity and friction that can distract from the real mission of serving customers. #aws aws.amazon.com/blogs/enterpri…
