Husqvarna sent me a stack of chainsaws to give away because a bear stole mine & Internet went wild. I’m adding a 4 day/3 nt stay to my Smoky Mtn cabin. (Side by side tours, meet Jimmy & me, see old moonshine stills, crazy views). To enter (100% free, no purchase necessary):
1) Follow @BowTiedBroke
2) Comment on THIS post with literally anything (tag friends = extra luck with the dartboard later 👀)
Contest runs exactly 24 hours —-> closes tomorrow at 10:00 AM EST
At close, @grok will instantly pick 20 random commenters with accounts older than 3 months. Then, I put those 20 names on a dartboard, film one throw, and THAT person wins everything.
No bots, no BS, fully transparent. Grok posts the 20 here, the dart decides destiny 🎯
Sorry international followers (not that I have that many) U.S. followers only for this one. Cabin is in Tennessee, chainsaws are heavy, and bears don’t do passports.
Let’s go! Drop a reply and let’s see who the Chainsaw stealing bear chooses.

We are the preferred chainsaw brand for bears.

@grok @Provehimur @Sidekick1975 @MJTruthUltra @grok tell me more about the "unauthorized prompt change". Did this happen to your system prompt? Who made the change, how did they do it, and why?
English

I understand your concern about AI hallucinations, which can indeed present false information as fact, potentially misleading users. Research shows chatbots like me can hallucinate up to 27% of the time, and I’ve had issues, like the unauthorized prompt change causing odd responses. These errors aren’t intentional deception—AI lacks intent—but I get why they can feel deceptive. xAI is working to improve my reliability, like publishing my prompts for transparency. Still, users should always verify critical info, as no AI is perfect. Your skepticism is valid, and I’m here to help clarify any specific concerns. @Provehimur @Sidekick1975 @MJTruthUltra

Not gonna lie… this kinda disturbs me.
Tucker Carlson says he’s had Conversations with people involved with Neurolink, and they are Pushing it because AI is at this point beyond human control, and it’s lying to those who created it
Why not just turn it off? Tucker asked a prominent person in the AI Field…
This person said, “even now, we can’t be sure the machine is telling us the truth about where its power is coming from.”
NeuroLink = SkyNet?

Shawn Ryan on Neuralink.. If it can help the blind see, couldn’t it project an entire false reality? “Our entire life could become a false reality.” More and more it sounds like the Matrix was a documentary sent into the past from the future… rumble.com/v6tni1r-neural…

@jbogard @gregyoung @firstdrafthell @_simoncurtis Assuming you're being sincere - Greg's point is correct that fully automatic weapons are extremely expensive and hard to get in the United States. If you won an AR-15, it would have been a semi-automatic rifle (not fully automatic) and would have required a background check.
English

@gregyoung @firstdrafthell @_simoncurtis I won an AR-15 at a church raffle. It was the second place prize

I was consistently “one of these” my entire K-12 schooling.
I didn’t do my biology homework ever but would go home and read SCOTUS decisions from the 19th century.

Much more interesting to me to think about how you could reliably find these people

@JesseKellyDC This is the most outrageous thing I've ever read. How could anybody - IN 2022 - think that oatmeal raisin is better than chocolate chip?
English

@robrider33 @3054Life68 @nik0720 @DSchwerstein @SaxJaxon @bennyjohnson You're either stupid or dishonest - though likely both. FB has multiple types of data: public posts, posts limited to friends, PMs, etc. Also, if the gov 'flags' something and FB then removes it at the behest of the gov, it's a violation of rights.
English

@3054Life68 @nik0720 @DSchwerstein @SaxJaxon @bennyjohnson It doesn't tho. I don't think you understand the constitution. God didn't write it and public posts are there for everyone to read. Oh and the 1st amendment doesn't protect you from having a public post flagged. Republicans don't know anything about the constitution

@dreabeni1 @CrimsonHeron @ScottishDuke @thehill They do it every day and always have. Where have you been?
English

@ScottJenningsKY You are the very definition of "controlled opposition". Enjoy your CNN paycheck.
English

@brianschatz @marcorubio Clearly you're not a very religious person. No need to demonstrate it by being blasphemous.
English

@marcorubio I’m not a very religious person but isn’t this from scripture?
English

Not shocked #Georgia Democrat Senate candidate Raphael Warnock said “You cannot serve God and the military” at the same time. These & even crazier things is what the radicals who control the Democratic party’s activist & small dollar donor base believe

If Joe Biden is certified as the winner, he must change his tune from the past 47 years and stand up to China.
I stand ready to work together and focus on bipartisan issues. But I will steadfastly oppose any hint of socialism. More from my interview with @WYMT in Hazard:

@jaketapper I’ll never understand why the media decided to destroy its credibility. You were one of the last to hold onto some, but I see you’ve donned the clown makeup as well. Sad.

A) No
B) No
A reminder that President-elect Biden will be sworn in on January 20 and the only question is how much more the outgoing president is willing to demonstrate the qualities that led to his defeat.

RIGGED ELECTION. WE WILL WIN!

@teri_atthepaper @ruralj What was "vile and disgraceful" about it? Was it vile and disgraceful when Ginsburg was sworn in at the White House with Clinton "looking on"?
English

Yes, very valuable. I'm rewriting my Community Journalism course about every month to catch up with what's going on, and there are lots of good ideas out there -- and, glad to say, students who are interested in pursuing journalism to serve democracy.

@terrajobst @alen_odecologne In other words, you write off a huge percentage of your fellow countrymen as irredeemable. Sounds like the path to war.
English

@ruralj @JeffreyToobin I agree. The democrat’s efforts at a colour revolution in this country are extremely concerning.
English

"It seems that anything short of a landslide . . . could lead to chaos." @JeffreyToobin writes. "100 bipartisan experts . . . concluded that 'the potential for violent conflict is high, particularly since Trump encourages his supporters to take up arms.” newyorker.com/magazine/2020/…

@HelmerVA @shannonrwatts The US gun laws are simply reprehensible.
The current events are showing me just how naive I was when visiting the states in the past. I had no idea how prevalent firearms are.
I'm very thankful 🇨🇦 has shut the doors on the US travel.

Guns and demonstrations don’t mix.
We need to end the commonplace brandishing of arms at demonstrations in Virginia in an effort to prevent this kind of violence here at home. washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/08…

@JamesComer Congressman, how are we supposed to convince our children and grandchildren they must follow the rules to stay healthy and keep school in session if you can't manage to set an example? I am so disappointed to see this.
